I want to remove limbs/branches from a tree

No ACC approval is required.

I want to remove dead trees

A dead or dying tree does not requires ACC permission for removal. Trees located within 100ft of the Occoquan River are subject to the PWC Resource Protection Area (RPA) and may require additional approval from the county.

I want to remove live trees

A tree of less than ten inches in diameter, measured at breast height, may be cut or removed without permission from the ACC. Trees located within 100ft of the Occoquan River are subject to the PWC Resource Protection Area (RPA) and may require additional approval from the county.

I want to install a shed on my property

Sheds do require ACC approval. In addition, you will need PWC county zoning approval and, depending on the size of the shed, a building permit.

I want to install a fence

Fences do require ACC approval. In addition, you will need PWC county zoning approval.
