DESCRIPTION:Pre-register by emailing: foto@friendsoftheoccoquan.org. This allows the Friends of the Occoquan organization to know how many supplies to give us. Trash bags\, gloves\, sometimes vests and some “pickers” are typically provided.\n\n\n\nThis is a countywide event to clean up the Occoquan River and riverbanks of trash. OFOA Neighbors can pick up trash on the common areas well as along the river by kayak and other boats. If someone would like to volunteer with a bigger boat (pontoon)\, it would be very helpful in transferring full trash bags from kayaks onto it\, so the kayakers do not have to waste time and energy going back and forth to the dock.\n\n\n\n**Please wear protective clothing\, boots\, bug repellent\, sun screen\, protective eyewear\, etc. as you see fit.**
